cagecodelookup.com provides a free lookup over public United States federal entity registration data. It is provided as a convenience and reference tool, at no charge, with no account required.

Not a government service

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the General Services Administration, the Defense Logistics Agency, SAM.gov, or any other United States government agency. The authoritative source for any record is SAM.gov.

Acceptable use

You may use this site for ordinary research and verification. You may not:

• scrape, crawl or otherwise systematically extract records in bulk, or attempt to reconstruct the underlying dataset;
• use automated tools to place load on the service beyond ordinary human use;
• redistribute data obtained here in bulk, or present it as an original data source;
• use the site or its data for unlawful purposes, or in breach of the SAM.gov Terms of Use.

If you need programmatic or bulk access, obtain it from the source: SAM.gov publishes both an API and public file extracts under Data Services.

Data ownership

The entity data displayed is public information published by the U.S. General Services Administration and remains subject to the SAM.gov Terms of Use. Where a record contains Dun & Bradstreet Open Data, that source is attributed on the record itself.

The site’s own writing, explanations, design and code are ours. You are welcome to quote or cite them with attribution.

No warranty

The data is provided as is. While it comes from the official public extract and the date of that extract is displayed on every result, we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. See the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site — including any commercial, contracting or procurement decision. Verify anything that matters at SAM.gov before acting on it.

Availability

The service may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
